aquarium..
man, wut is our fascination w/ sharks? esther and i just got back from our first trip to the famed baltimore aquarium (although i think ive been there before when i was weelly little) and it was fun. got to see tons of fishies, manta rays, dolphins, even piranha--but the best are sharks, right? cmon, who doesnt luv starin a shark straight in the eye...as long as theres a 5-in glass plate separatin us. i guess a lot of it has to do w/ 'jaws', but ill bet people were just as terrified of em before that film came out--just not when they went to the beach..
anyways, it was a good time. we got to see a lot of coo things, the best of which was probly the dolphin show. man, i feel proud when i can get stella or cocoa to do dead for a little milkbone. but trainin a DOLPHIN to do jump our of the water and do a somersault in mid-air?? shouldnt that nobel-worthy or somethin?
i thought the funniest part of the aquarium was that there were also frogs, aligators (small ones), and even spiders there. in fact, there was a recreation of part of rainforest inside--shouldnt the aquarium also be called a terrarium then? or am i just bein stoopidly nitpicky in a seinfeldish-sorta way since i have nothin better to write about? hmm, ill stop here..
it was fun. so we made our token once-in-a-lifetime trip to the area aquarium..
