follow me..
ever since i was a little kid, ive hated bein followed. not the stalkin-type; more like when youre playin around as children and one of your friends decides to annoy you by followin you wherever you go, run, climb, and hide. really annoyin..
cept now, im always bein followed by two labradors. i actually dont hate it--its quite endearin at times. at other times, however, i get annoyed. they follow me into the bathroom (no smell can deter em). they follow up the stairs, down the stairs, and back up the stairs. and they even wake up from their beauty naps to go w/ me as i go to turn off the lights in the other room. again, its really cute esp considerin its a reflection of their loyalty as mans best friend (im convinced labs are second only border collies on this). but me--im an introvert and sometimes i just need my space..
so sometimes i shoo em away. or push em to go away. of course, they dont. see, labradors want to and may need to always be around humans. there are two things you cant do w/ labs: you cant put em away. if you close the door leavin them out of the room youre in, they get all sad, may whine, and just sit outside waitin for you let em in. the other thing is you cant hide from em. cuz then it turns into a game where they basically tear through the entire house searchin endlessly for you until youre found. its really fun, but again--not effective..
so although my introvert nature allows me to avoid human contact altogether at this particular time in my unemployed situation, i wont be able to escape my two dogs--my two lovin and attention-starved dogs..

dogs are great, but yeah... sometimes it's like having a kid or younger brother. i hear bulldogs don't do that.
cats are great in that way, but they're always playing mind games w/ you and they aren't as cute as dogs

that's so cute of them. i wish my dog did that. he only follows me around if i'm holding a treat. that bastard.
