need for speed..

need_speed.jpgso i rented this very suhweet racin game the other day and it really rocks. essentially, youre racin in your choice of cars (more on this in a sec) against other speedsters WHILE runnin away from the cops. yes, unrealistic but it makes for an excitin game (you also can race as the five-oh tryin to stop the bad guyz). but wut really makes this game is the selection of fine automobiles: ferarri 360 spider, corvette O6, lambroghini diablo, porche 911 turbo, bmw m5, etc. im not really into cars, but this aspect over any other is clutch. wut other game allows you to race in such style? for those who have a gaming system, i highly recommend it..

- the other day, esther made an incredible batch of daeji-bulgohgi (korean bbq pork) for us/me and man, it was awesome. its weird cuz i never really ate that much pork growin up but since bein w/ esther, ive eaten a whole lot more and rather enjoy it a lot. just another reason of how a relationship can expand your world--and dinner pallette. whens the last time YOU had a good helpin of daeji-bulgogi?

- its nba all-star weekend and today should be fairly interestin: dunk contest has only four players, brent barry goin for the unprecedented double crown in the 3-pt shootout (he previously won the dunk contest--im not jokin), the skillz challenge w/ four pt guards basically showcasin the abilities, and--the highlight (for me)--tribute to mj. should be fun..

- check out this poll (thanks alpo). how would you suggest improvin all-star weekend? alpo says an all-whiteys or a retired-players dunk contest. yeah, i would luv seein dominique power-dunkin a tostito chip tellin us to get outta his house. haha..

- have you seen this story? can you believe they have guns like that now? watch your back..

- i was wonderin the other day: why do people in general wanna be liked? why is that something we desire or even seek out from others? at its base, the question really is: why do we wanna be loved?

i partly figured its because it feels good to be loved--that we seek love because it is a positive and good thing. then the fundamental question really becomes: why are 'good things' good? wut makes love a positive thing? why isnt bad or apathy or hate a 'good' thing? i mean despite wut weve read and been exposed to in growin up, theres an inherent sense of wut is good and wut isnt to us, right? heck, even dogs recognize wut is good cuz all they really seek out is love and attention (and food). how is 'good' good? or even better, why must 'good' be good?

yes, im just philosophically rantin..

- ive decided to buy zelda. too good of a deal and too good of a game to pass up. plus, isnt playin nintendo games one of the reasons i got gamecube in the first place?

- speakin of which, i cant wait til mario kart for gamecube finally comes out. hopefully, itll be before ps3 does..

im hungry--wheres the pork?
