worms suck..
this blaster worm is killin me. its all i (and my coworkers) did today--go from machine to machine in the hospital removin this annoyin thang. the worst is if the computer needed a service pack update, thats another half an hour. UGH!!
thing is, if i had written the worm i wouldve had it do somethin much worse than pop up a nice, instructive dialog box informatively countin down to the annoyin reboot . i probly wouldve had it reformat your drive or somethin..
it would be so cool to be so cruel--haha..

HELPFUL PORTION OF THE ENTRY:
if you are annoyed by repeated reboots or would not like your machine to contribute attacks to microsofts server this weekend, then heres wut you do to fix or protect your computer:
- if you have antivirus software, update it (so itll prevent any new "infections")..
- download and run the removal utility..
- download and install the patch specific to your windows version (run "winver" if you dunno). you may need to install a service pack--if so, search for it at www.microsoft.com cuz the windowsupdate site cant be trusted..
