let it snow, let it sleet, let it freeze..
stoopid weather. more wonderful winter magic in the mornin w/ sleet and freezin rain arrivin just in time for rush hour. thanks a lot, ya stoopid groundhog..
actually, i like the cold--i just hate the shovellin and the traffic..
im workin on a super-sized superbowl entry--i simply have too many thoughts on that incredible boxin-match-of-a-game..
anyways, just wanted to mention how moronically sucked i am now into average joe 2. this weeks episode was pretty interestin cuz hunk turned on hunk (not like that, you sicko), girl kissed nerd, and guys were eliminated. and the preview for next weeks looked enticin w/ girls brought in to rile up larissa and one big explosion..
by the way, i was wonderin if they could ever pull off the same concept except switch the genders. think a guy could ever choose an average jill? or maybe even entertain one on a date? esther says no cuz guys are too visually-oriented. i had no response to that..
one last thought i had revolved around the notion that duke doesnt produce nba players. w/ the exception of grant hill--who most no longer think highly of--there really hasnt been much argument to counter w/. recently, however, carlos boozer has been gainin some well-deserved publicity w/ his consistency double-double production in cleveland. and elton brand is the solid rock which the clippers (okay, fine--theyre still the clippers) have built their foundation on.
its interestin to see of all the quality guards duke has had through the years, namely hurley, shane, and jaywill, its the "under-sized" power forwards who are provin that sound fundamentals and blue-(devil)-collar hustle go a long way..
