i heard the buzzer on christmas day..
i had me a pretty nice christmas day..
first off, began w/ a nice leisurely get-up-when-you-feel-like-it. then putzed around w/ the in-laws (esther and i were chillin w/ her family in st louis), watchin some tv..
about half-an-hr into that, esthers dad asked the kids, "when are we openin presents??" a non-reply and an hour later, our eyes were still glued to the tube when again he agitatedly asked, "are we gonna open presents??!!"
20 mins later, he began to bullrush the christmas tree, half-yellin, "fine!! im openin em w/o you all!!" we then got up, turned off the tv, and.....
..ate breakfast/lunch--haha. afterwards FINALLY, we opened presents..
i got me some nahce gifts as always (thanks esther and family!), but the true gift began afterwards..
..cuz i basically spent the rest of the day watchin the pistons take on the pacers, kobe score a meaningless 42 against shaq and dwyane wade, kansas city squeak out a W against the raiders, and denver manhandle the titans..
yes, two bball games followed by two football games--it was truly a great christmas day..
cant speak for the wife though--heh heh..
